Project Temporary Study Work Abroad Student
Adopt a secondary school class while on your year abroad
Routes into Languages London is looking for students about to go to Francophone, Spanish or German speaking countries for their year abroad.
The Adopt-a-class scheme aims to enthuse and encourage young people to continue to study languages at school, college or university.
Adopt-a- class Ambassadors keep regular communication with their class through email, blog, or skype, but also conduct a pre- and post- year abroad visit to their "adopted" class, in June/July 2017 and September 2018 respectively.
This is a project targets pupils in state funded secondary schools. This is an unpaid activity but by taking part, you will further develop your communication and influencing skills and experience of working with young people. It’s likely that the content of your posts will also be useful when preparing a report on your year abroad. Travel costs to your school visit will be reimbursed.
In order to apply or to find out more, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org at your earliest convenience but no later than 5th of May, 2017.
